

GUWAHATI: Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Justice RM Chhaya launched the first Bi-Annual e-Journal "Nyaya Prajna" of Judicial Academy, Assam on the premises of Judicial Academy, Assam, Amingaon today in the presence of Justice NK Singh, Justice MR Pathak and other judges of the High Court.
The Chief Justice emphasized in his inaugural speech that the e-journal would showcase the rich history and tradition of Gauhati High Court and District Courts and shall be avant-garde for younger generations. The publication of this e-Journal by the Academy was conceptualized, contemplating focusing on knowledge enhancement and updation, as the Academy is conscious of the requirement of keeping the Judicial Officers abreast with the recent development and contours of law. Considering the advent of technological in-roads, the e-Journal is the most viable option. This journal will be a platform for all the members of the judicial fraternity to throw insights into various aspects of the law.
