Gorchuk Police arrested one person for theft case at Laung Gaon near ISBT

GUWAHATI: The Gorchuk Police has arrested one person in connection to a case where a four/five-member gang decamped with the bag from the owner of Gupta Marbles at Laung Gaon near ISBT under Gorchuk Police Station in Guwahati on August 29. In the process the miscreants also fired two rounds. The arrested person has been identified as Rishi Rabha. He is a native of Boko. The police have also recovered the four-wheeler (AS01DR1120) which was used to commit the crime.

A case (458/20) was filed to this effect at Gorchuk Police Station. According to the FIR, the bag had Rs 5,000 and some important documents.
