Greater Kalakshetra Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee all set to organize Puja

GUWAHATI: The Brihattar Kalakshetra Sarbajanin Durga Puja Committee (BKSDPC) is all set to organize the Durga Puja celebrations from Thursday with a five-day long programme at Jilika Path, near Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Panjabari here.

However, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the puja this time will be organized in a low-key manner by strictly following the COVID-19 protocols.

Further, in sync with the administration's COVID-19 SOP, the committee has decided not to distribute prasad or serve khichdi to the devotees. Also, no puja offerings will be accepted from the public. Anjali will be given in batches for which the devotees will have to bring flowers as no flower would be provided by the priest, stated a release.
