GUWAHATI: With the spirit of putting the nation above all and acting as responsible and patriotic citizens, BJP karyakartas have taken a firm resolution to offer their utmost contribution—physically, mentally, intellectually, and with full commitment of resources—to turn the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” into a reality.
Along with exercising their constitutional right to vote, BJP workers are actively inspiring people from all sections of society to participate in the democratic process, thereby strengthening the core values of democracy and laying the foundation for a developed India by 2047, the party said.
More than 65 lakh karyakartas of the party are already actively engaged in political activities across the state with this spirit of resolution. BJP’s state spokesperson Ranjib Kumar Sarmah stated this in a statement released from the party’s state headquarters, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan.
From today, executive meetings of 433 mandal committees under 39 organisational districts of Assam BJP have commenced. In these meetings, every participant will resolve to play a special role in nation-building with their highest possible contribution, mentioned Sharma in the statement.
All BJP karyakartas have signed a ‘Sankalp Patra’ (Pledge Letter) where they vow to uphold national unity, integrity, and brotherhood and to move forward by eliminating all divisions based on caste, religion, gender, and region.
As per Sarmah, BJP workers will continue to play an active role against colonial mindsets and dynastic politics. The party also intends to inspire citizens across all sections of society to ensure protection of public property and maintain transparency, alongside the dedicated efforts of its workers, he said.
