Guwahati: Child’s Body Fished out from Brahmaputra River

Guwahati: Tragedy struck at Lachit Ghat as the body of a child, who went missing after reportedly falling into a pothole near the Brahmaputra river, was recovered today. According to sources, the child had been missing since yesterday after accidentally slipping into a pothole along the riverbank. His body was found floating in the river this morning. Police from the Fancy Bazar outpost have launched an investigation into the incident.
