Guwahati: City Police Arrest Suspect Involved in Mule Account Scam

GUWAHATI: A team of Chandmari PS from Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) arrested an individual named Abdul Rashid Ahmed (34) of Nizarapar near Guwahati College. Police recovered several items from him, including passbooks in the names of others, bank account opening forms, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, cash amounting to Rs. 8,000, and a mobile handset, which he attempted to dispose of by throwing it into a nearby drain. He is suspected to be involved in the opening of mule accounts.
