Guwahati: Drug Peddlers Arrested, Heroin Seized in City

GUWAHATI: A team from Panbazar PS raided a hideout near 4 No Rail Gate and apprehended Nijam Ali (18) of Nagaon. Police seized 9 vials of heroin weighing 16.54 grams and Rs 230 in cash. Legal action has been initiated against the accused. In another operation, a team from Fancy Bazar OP of Panbazar PS raided 4 No. Railway Gate of Fancy Bazar. Police seized 11.89 grams heroin, 35 empty plastic vials, and Rs 740 in cash. Police arrested Arihant Ali in connection with the case.
