GUWAHATI: The NEDFi Convention Centre in Guwahati hosted the 18th Foundation Day celebration of GNRC Ltd., a prominent healthcare provider in Northeast India.

Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah, the founder of GNRC Hospitals, celebrated this milestone by launching the "GNRC Sparsha Scheme," a special membership program designed to lower the cost and increase the accessibility of high-quality healthcare for Guwahati residents.

The membership costs Rs. 1500 per year and offers several benefits, including home visits by a medical team every four months, free blood tests, ECGs, and consultations with specialists like neurologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, gynecologists, and pediatricians.

Members will also receive free ambulance service to GNRC Hospital in case of emergency within the city.

At the event, the chief guests, Namita Bhattarcharyya (a popular Assamese singer) and Dhaijya Hazarika (Executive Editor of Asomiya Pratidin), unveiled the new scheme.

Dr. Borah highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare for a healthy society, and GNRC’s commitment to offering quality care in line with NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) standards.

Dr. Mainular Rahman, COO of GNRC Hospital, emphasized the hospital’s mission to provide affordable and quality healthcare. He expressed hope that the new membership scheme would strengthen the bond between the hospital and the community. The event concluded with gratitude for the continued support from staff, media, and the community.
