GUWAHATI: Guwahati Mayor Mrigen Sarania on Thursday announced the successful completion of two years of the civic outreach initiative “Prayakh”, aimed at addressing day-to-day civic grievances directly from citizens. Launched in 2022, the “Prayakh” initiative enables residents to connect directly with the Mayor through a dedicated helpline. Citizens can speak to the Mayor live every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 9:30 am and 10:30 am by calling +91 8811007000. Over the past two years, the Mayor-in-Council (MIC) and GMC officials have reportedly resolved a majority of the complaints received through this platform.
