GUWAHATI: State Labour Minister Rupesh Gowala handed over appointment letters to three factory inspectors at his office in Dispur on Tuesday. Addressing the newly appointed factory inspectors, Minister Gowala urged them to discharge their duties responsibly and ensure the protection and safety of workers' interests. "It is your responsibility to ensure that there is no laxity in protecting workers' rights and safety. You must remain vigilant to prevent any excesses by factory owners, entrepreneurs, or businessmen."

The Minister welcomed the new factory inspectors to the Labour Department family, stating, "In the coming days, the Labour Department will continue to appoint eligible candidates through a transparent and fair process."

Notably, the State government, led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has appointed over a lakh youth through a completely transparent and fair process, ensuring the placement of a large number of educated youth. The Labour Department will continue this process in the future.
