Guwahati Municipal Corporation conducts inspection drives

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) is carrying out inspection drives on a regular basis on various business establishments like restaurants, spas, shops, etc. to check whether they have a valid licence or not and the workings of it. Inspection drives by GMC officials are conducted to ensure that there are no health and safety violations and uncover potential hazards that could put stakeholders at risk. According to officials of GMC, “We are doing these drives on a regular basis. If anyone is found violating rules, then strict actions will be taken against them.”
