According to GMC officials, possessing a valid trade license is mandatory for all commercial establishments operating within Guwahati. Authorities have urged business owners to obtain and regularly renew their licenses to avoid fines and legal consequences. The corporation has reiterated its commitment to maintain regulatory standards, warning that non-compliance will lead to strict enforcement measures.
