Guwahati Municipal Corporation takes steps to clear footpaths

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) undertook a campaign today to clear the footpaths in the Ulubari area of Guwahati. They demolished several structures and cleared the garbage dumped at multiple places to ensure that the footpaths were made available to the public.

The officials also mentioned that the organization will take a very strict stance this time and keep a constant vigil against any illegal structure blocking the footpaths of the city.
