Guwahati-North Guwahati ferry services resume in 4 parghats with 50% passengers

GUWAHATI: The ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati have been resumed from Thursday in four parghats with 50 per cent passengers. Before boarding the vessels, all passengers have to be examined with thermal scanners and the passengers will have to abide by all COVID-19 guidelines. The number of trips has also been reduced to seven against 14 earlier. There will be no ferry services after 4 pm.

The parghats that have resumed operations are – Guwahati-North Guwahati, Guwahati-Madhyamkhanda, Rajaduwar-Guwahati and Guwahati-Kuruwa.
