Guwahati: Poetry Book ‘Shilot Gaji Utha Jonak’ Launched in City

Guwahati: Poet Diganta Kalita’s latest poetry collection, ‘Shilot Gaji Utha Jonak’, was officially launched on Sunday at the Lakhiram Barua Sadan, located within the Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) premises.

The book release was part of the celebrations of the 5th Assam Kobita Mahotsav, a vibrant literary event that brought together prominent figures from Assam’s cultural and literary landscape.

The event was inaugurated by noted composer and president of the “Sadou Asom Xahitya Sanmilan,” Robson Baruah. Among other distinguished attendees were respected litterateur Sumitra Goswami, film director Munna Ahmed, and veteran radio artiste Hiren Chandra Kalita.
