Guwahati police arrested three in honey trapping case

GUWAHATI: Guwahati police tracked down a honey trapping gang. According to police source, a woman along with another two people is arrested. The woman, in a chance of friendship, trapped the priest, Bhagirathi Shastri, and started making obscene video calls, recorded them, and later started blackmailing him for money. The honey trapping gang demanded Rs 5 lakh from the priest, and threatened to leak his photos and videos on social media if he could not give the said amount.

Then the priest lodged an FIR in Fatashil Ambari police station.

Police arrested Pramod Tiwari on Thursday, Bhabajit Sen on Friday and the woman later.
