Guwahati police issues orders to limit public gatherings

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police Commissionerate has issued orders that will limit attendance at public and private events around the city. The step was taken in view of the outbreak of the COVID-19. A City Police source said, “It is our responsible to take necessary precautions to keep ourselves safe. We have to take the right direction to maintain a safety and healthy society.”

The police administration will also conduct search operation at medical stores to check masks and sanitizers. Recently administration has also received many complaints regarding unavailable and sudden price rise of these essential items.
