Guwahati Police seized heroin, brown sugar in city

GUWAHATI: A Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) team from Satgaon PS raided the house of one Rohit Ali alias Bholu at Nowapara and seized 13 vials of suspected heroin weighing 85 gms with vial from his possession. Rohit Ali was arrested and legal action has been initiated.

On the other hand, a West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) team from Fatasil Ambari PS arrested a couple – Md Sayed Ali (38) and Jamila Begum (42) of Datalpara after seven vials of suspected brown sugar weighing 11.80 gm were seized from their possession. Legal action has been initiated.
