Guwahati: Pragjyotish College Celebrates College Week with Events and Competitions

GUWAHATI: Pragjyotish College, Guwahati, celebrated college week with a series of fun events and competitions. The college week started on the 7th of February with the cultural rally competition among the departments of the college, where every department carried out the rallies representing various cultures by the students of the departments. A list of competitions for students, like dance, anchoring, acting, treasure hunts, various sports, etc., with high participation of students, is witnessed during the college week.

The closing ceremony of the college week will begin with an open meeting in the presence of the principal of the college, Dr. Manoj Kr. Mahanta, and chief guests Dr. Nanda Singh Borkolla, senior police officer; Dr. Ramendra Narayan Kalita, MLA, West Guwahati Constituency; and senior journalist Atanu Bhuyan. A prize distribution ceremony will be hosted where the winners of various events of the college week will be awarded.
