Guwahati Raj Bhawan guard wall collapses; Hospital evacuated

GUWAHATI: Landslide hasn't spared even Raj Bhawan. The rear guard wall of Raj Bhawan at Kharguli in Guwahati collapsed due to landslide on Saturday. Barthakur Clinic and Hospital located in the rear side of Raj Bhawan had to be evacuated as a precautionary measure. While some of the patients have been released, some have been shifted to other hospitals. Immediately after the landslide, Kamrup (M) District Administration has appealed to the people of the city who are residing in landslide-prone areas to shift to safer areas till the monsoon is over.
