Guwahati: The general secretary of Assam State Primary Teachers Association (ASPTA), Ratul Chandra Goswami has been elected as the working president of the All India Primary Teachers’ Federation (AIPTF), a prestigious national-level organization. This development took place during the general council meet of the AIPTF, held from December 1 and December 2 at Ernakulum in Kerala.
Goswami’s elected as the working president was uncontested, marking his second term in this position. The general council meeting witnessed participation from around 30 lakh members from 24 states. From Assam, along with Goswami, several professionals, including Nilakshi Gogoi, the incharge president of ASPRA, and other state members like Kalpana Das attended the meet.
