Guwahati: Several Incidents takes Place during Holi Festivities in City

GUWAHATI: Several incidents took place in Guwahati during the Holi festivities from Friday.

A person named Tabu Das had to lose his life following a fistfight at Basistha this evening. The police accused Bakra in connection with the incident.

Earlier in the day, one Raju Roy chased one Ranjan Sarma, who questioned the former about breaking a liquor bottle on the road. The police apprehended Raju. In another incident, miscreants attacked singer Rishi Baruah at the Commerce College Point at Chandmari last night. An inebriated girl created a ruckus in the Wireless Area at Beltola last night. She ransacked a few shops and involved herself in a quarrel with another girl who was passing by riding a bike.
