Guwahati: Special Task Force Seized Drugs Worth Rs 4 Crore, Two Arrested

Guwahati: A team of the Special Task Force (STF), led by Additional SP (STF) Kalyan Kr. Pathak, intercepted a vehicle at Amingaon, which was coming from Jirighat on the Assam-Manipur border. Upon conducting a thorough search, the team recovered 41 soap boxes containing 533 grams of heroin, valued at approximately Rs 4 crore in the illegal market.

Two individuals, identified as Sajidul Laskar (driver) and Mrinal Hussain (co-driver), both residents of Makhon Nagar in Jirighat, were apprehended in connection with the case. The vehicle used for transportation was also seized.

Legal action has been initiated against them.
