The workshop, conducted by Kirtan Kala Kendra—a wing of Kirtan Foundation—was held at its Bhetapara branch from July 10. It aimed to deepen the understanding of Xattriya dance, Abhinaya (expression), and associated performance traditions among young learners. Krishna Kanta Das and Bhaskarjyoti Ojah accompanied the students on khol and flute respectively. Over 300 attendees witnessed the event, which was anchored by senior student and assistant trainer Rimlee Choudhury. The workshop also featured daily interactions with experts such as writer Diganta Biswa Sharma, Sri Sri Ishwar Hati Sattra Satradhikar Rajiv Lochan Sant Bap, and others, stated a press release.
