‘Health Services Festival’ concludes successfully in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The ‘Health Services Festival’ commenced on April 6 in the Kamrup Metropolitan district, and ended successfully on April 8. It was organized to encourage and enhance services in the state. A total of 50 health centers in the district were evaluated during the three-day festival.

Guwahati Lok Sabha Constituency MP, Queen Oja visited Pandu F.R.U. hospital and Kharghuli Micro Primary Health Center on the last day of the festival.

Under the festival, a district hospital, a community health centre, two FRUs and 46 primary health centers in the city were evaluated. The evaluation programme, which was launched on the model of Gunotsav by the Department of Education, was conducted by external evaluators mainly on the basis of infrastructure, human resources and service delivery of health centres.
