Hike In Water Tariff Soon By Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water and Sewerage Board

GUWAHATI: The Jal Board (the Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water and Sewerage Board) is going to hike water tariff soon. Zero-10,000 litres a month for domestic consumers will be charged Rs 22, Rs 28 for 10,001-20,000 litres a month, Rs 32 for 20,001-30,000 litres a month, etc. In case commercial consumers, the rate is Rs 100 for 0-30,000 litres a month.
