Hoisting of National Flag as a part of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative

GUWAHATI: For the upcoming Independence Day and as a part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative, all the traders under the municipality markets and the trade licence holders under the purview of Guwahati Municipal Corporation are directed to hoist the National Flag on their office premises from Sunday to August 15. According to the notification by the GMC, it stated, "In view of upcoming Independence Day celebration and as a part of "Har Ghar Tiranga" initiative, all the Traders under Municipal Markets and all the Trade Licence holders under the purview of Guwahati Municipal Corporation are hereby directed to hoist or display the National Flag in their business premises w.e.f. 13.08.2023 to 15.08.2023. This has the approval of the Commissioner, GMC."
