Huge Amount of cigarettes Seized By Government Railway Police (GRP)

GUWAHATI: Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered 1232 packets of foreign cigarette from Dibrugarh Tambaram Express on Monday. Thangam,63, Lingeswari Suriyaraj, 43, Raj Lakshmi, 51, Mahadevi, 50, Kasy Ama, 64, Mary S, Poomathi S, Pushpa S and Muni Amma have been detained and handed over to custom department. Another raid was performed by Custom Department on Tuesday in SB Worldwide Cargo and Courier Services in Ahomgaon, 200 cartons of foreign cigarettes were seized.
