GUWAHATI: Indian Oil recently introduced a rust-free light weight 10 kg cylinder with many other unique features in Guwahati, all the state capitals of the Northeast and in almost all cities and small towns across Assam and the Northeast. It has been branded as ‘Composite Cylinder’.

Unlike conventional Steel LPG cylinder, Composite Cylinder is a three-layered construction made up of a blow-moulded inner liner (HDPE), covered with composite layer of polymer-wrapped fiber glass and fitted with a HDPE outer jacket. The weight of this unique cylinder is almost half of that conventional steel cylinder and as such homemakers can easily handle it. The Composite Cylinder comes with a translucent body that enables customers to accurately check the LPG liquid level in the cylinder. Composite Cylinders do not corrode or rust unlike its metal equivalents and therefore, there are less chances of leaving stains and marks in the floor. The composite cylinder has a more visually appeal and fresh design getting aligned to today’s modern smart kitchen. Customers can now take the connection of this new cylinder from any LPG gas agency of Indian Oil and also can replace their old cylinder with this new cylinder in their respective LPG gas agencies.

A team of Indian Oil officials along with the proprietor of M/S Seuji Gas Distributor, Panjabari, Guwahati visited the residence of renowned playback singer Nahid Afrin and handed over a 10 kg Composite Cylinder connection from Indian Oil, stated a press release.
