'India's Role in Post-COVID World' webinar organized in city college

GUWAHATI: A national webinar on "Post COVID World Politics: Role of India" was organized by the Department of Political Science of Narangi Anchalik Mahavidyalaya in collaboration with the college's Internal Quality Assurance Cell on Saturday.

Principal of the college Reeta Dutta Hazorika inaugurated the session and welcomed the participants as well as the resource persons.

The guest speaker Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta of Gauhati University highlighted the key role India would be playing at the international level by overcoming the challenges that it would confront in post-COVID world. He also threw light on how China's policies and diplomatic initiatives will affect the country and the other nations in the world. Towards the end of the session, Professor Mahanta interacted with the students of the college while also answering to a few questions from the participants.

The question answer session was conducted by Banasree Devi, assistant professor of the host department and assistant coordinator of the Webinar, a press release said.
