Interactive session with Dr Mayur Hazarika held in Guwahati

 GUWAHATI: An interactive session under the Advancing North East initiative of NEDFi and the North Eastern Council, Government of India, was organized with Dr. Mayur Hazarika, UPSC All India 5th Rank Holder, on Monday at the auditorium of NEDFi House, Dispur, Guwahati. The session was physically attended by 150 students from Assam, and more than 200 students from different parts of the North East joined virtually. The session was also graced by S. K. Baruah, Executive Director, NEDFi. During the session, the students got firsthand insights from Dr. Hazarika regarding various aspects of preparing for competitive examinations.

Advancing the North East is a digital initiative of the North Eastern Council (NEC) and NEDFi. The initiative comes in the form of a web portal that can be accessed at www.advancing northeast.in. The vision of this initiative is to act as a one-stop solution for the youth of NER regarding Career and Livelihood by facilitating informed decisions in terms of Education, employment, and Entrepreneurship, stated a press release.
