Jumbo Dies At Satargaon In Rani

GUWAHATI: On Wednesday morning, an injured elephant was discovered at Satargaon in Rani. The jumbo had injury in both its face and legs and was lying beside a small stream. According to Rani Forest Officials, the animal had come out in search of food when it must have injured itself. They lifted him to a safer spot and tried to tend to his wounds, however, the elephant did not survive the night and died a few hours later.
