Kamrup (M) to Host District-Level Sports Event 'Khel Maharan 2.0' on February 8 and 9, 2025

GUWAHATI: The district-level Khel Maharan 2.0 is all set to take place in Kamrup Metropolitan district on February 8 and February 9, 2025. This exciting sports event will feature a range of competitions, including kabaddi, athletics, chess, and cycling, which will be held on February 8 for all categories. Football and volleyball competitions will follow on February 9. To participate in the district-level competition, players must have been selected from the sub-division level. A selection trial for swimming will be held on February 8 from 8 AM at Dr. Zakir Hussain Aquatic Complex in Sarusajai. Swimmers in the under-14 and under-17 categories will be eligible to participate in the event. All interested players are required to bring their birth certificates, Khel Maharan 2.0 registration forms, and Aadhaar cards (mandatory) to the respective venues.
