Korean cigarettes seized; 1 held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A team of the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) from the Latasil Police Station on Tuesday intercepted an Innova (AS01DC4698) vehicle and seized about 5,000 packs of 'Esse Special Gold' smuggled Korean cigarettes.

Police sources said that one Umesh Mandal of the Uzanbazar Railway Colony here was arrested in this connection.
