GUWAHATI: NEPNI Group of Institutions, a unit of NEPNI Trust, Alikash has organized its "Lamp Lighting & Oath-taking Ceremony, 2021" for the 14th batch of GNM, 6th batch of ANM & 1st batch of B.Sc Nursing students.

This ceremony is the most auspicious event in every newly admitted nurse students as they take oath as a mark of education towards the nursing profession. Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bora, former Principal, Jorhat and Barpeta Medical College, former DME, Government of Assam, former president, Axam Xahitya Xabha has graced the event as the chief guest. Mrinalini Devi, vice-president of Axam Xahitya Xabha, Syed Shamael Ahmad, pational president, Private Schools and Children Welfare Association, Patna were present as the guests of honour. It was a pride moment for NEPNI to have international delegates like K.P Fabian, Ambassador of India to Qatar, Italy and different countries as special guests. In the same event, NEPNI Trust felicitated with the "NEPNI Excellency Award 2021" to Dr. Achyut Chandra Baishya, Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent, GMCH and Dr. Nekibuddin Ahmed, Deputy Superintendent, Goroimari CHC for their dedicated services for the community during the post-Covid- 19 pandemic situation.

All the dignitaries expressed their sincere gratitude towards NEPNI Trust in their speeches and applauded for the place of Zenith with our achievements in the field of Health sector and education. Mohammed Khater Al Khater, Ambassador of the State of Qatar, New Delhi has conveyed his best regards and assured to extent possible assistance to NEPNI Trust for establishing the linkages of cooperation between NEPNI and its counterparts in the State of Qatar.

The ceremony was a successful one with many colourful cultural programmes performed by the students of NEPNI.
