According to sources, a mutation order passed online in the Dharitree web portal on May 10, 2023, in a mutation case in respect of a sale deed on December 31, 1995, where no offline case record of any notice issued, field verification report by revenue officials, or order of Lat Mandal and Kunungoo were found available in the office of the complainant. Upon inquiry, the Lat Mandal reported that neither field verification nor any report was submitted in respect of the referred mutation case. Therefore, it was suspected that some unscrupulous elements hatched a conspiracy to get the mutation done by resorting to the forgery of documents and unethical means. Then, in this connection, the circle officer filed the complaint at the Cyber Police Station.
In this connection, four people have already been arrested.
