Land pattas to eksonia land with locals

GUWAHATI: The State Revenue and Disaster Management department is contemplating on a mechanism through which land pattas to eksoia land holding indigenous people in the State can be given land pattas. The department noticed that a number of indigenous people of the State are staying on eksonia lands in the State. The department is now examining ways and means to issue land pattas to such indigenous people.
