Lions Club of Gauhati Distributes Groceries To Poor Families

GUWAHATI: Lions Club of Gauhati on its Golden Jubilee Celebration Year, distributed Grocery Kits under the ‘Bag of Hope’ for needy families, here in the city. Project Bag of Hope Chairperson Lion Deepak Mittal informed that the District Governor ML Agarwal launched the Phase 3 of Project Bag of Hope on Tuesday and distributed the Grocery kits consisting of Rice, Dal, Mustard Oil, Sugar, Soya Nugget, Salt, Turmeric etc to the Children of Avas Foundation

Centres at Uzan Bazar and Rajgarh in presence of Lions Gauhati President Kamal Agarwal, Relieve the Hunger District Chairperson; Past District Governors DP Bajaj, Club Members Manoj Bhajanka, Mahesh Jhuria, Kavita Beria, Mahesh Sharma, Rajesh Hansaria, Prakash Sikaria, Naresh Agarwal, BS Rathod, Anand Aiyyar; Avas Foundation Members Ruchika Khadria, Pomi Baruah, Anantika Jain, Kasturi Kashyap, Jimi Choudhary, Romi Baruah etc. Lions Club of Gauhati have already distributed more than 1000+ Grocery Kits in Phase 1 and 2 of Project Bag of Hope and will continue this Nobel Service Project throughout the Golden Jubilee Year and thereafter. The Project was highly appreciated and praised by the attending Guests, Beneficiaries, Lions Club International etc.
