Man Arrested by Bharalumukh Police in Molestation Charge

GUWAHATI: A person named Niranjan Kalita (48) was arrested by Bharalumukh police on Saturday night on the charge of molesting a nine-year-old girl in the Santipur area here. Based on an FIR filed by the family members of the girl, a case (837/19 u/s 342/354 (B) IPC R/W Section 4 of POCSO Act, 2012) was registered in Bharalumukh police station.
