Meteorological Prediction Thunderstorm Likely To Hit Northeast

GUWAHATI: As per the Regional Meteorological Centre prediction, a thunderstorm is likely to hit Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on May 3. A similar squall hit the state on April 29 and warning has been issued that a repeat of the same is highly likely. The storm is expected to have a wind speed of 30 to 40 kilometer per hour and will be followed by heavy rains.
