“Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s dream is to empower the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society to lead a life of dignity and contribute to the development of the state,” said Minister Pijush Hazarika.
The state government is committed to the development of all communities in the state, Hazarika added.
Today, 1000 Scheduled Tribe women, 168 youth, and 32 safai karamcharis received sewing machines; graphics design units, and pickup vehicles, respectively, under the income-generating scheme.
