Missing files of Saradha scam: Gauhati High Court asks CS to file Affidavit

GUWAHATI: Gauhati High Court has directed the State Chief Secretary to file an affidavit on the missing of files of the Saradha scam for which a PIL was filed in the High Court. The PIL also sought CBI inquiry into the missing of files of the scam. Hearing of the PIL on Monday, the bench of the Gauhati High Court asked the State Chief Secretary to submit an affidavit by November 4, 2019 in the case, failing which Rs 5,000 would be deducted from the salary of the officer who is found responsible in causing delay in the process of the court.
