'Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Darshan' organized to popularize science in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: As a joint initiative of the Regional Science Centre, Guwahati, Assam Science Technology and Climate Change Department and Guwahati Planetarium, a programme titled 'Mukhya Mantrir Bigyan Darshan' has been organized. This programme will try to explore science through science exhibits, science shows and science parks. For this programme, students, teachers, senior citizens from different parts of Assam will visit Regional Science Centre, Guwahati and Guwahati Planetarium.

The programme was inaugurated on Tuesday by Minister for Science and Technology, Keshab Mahanta at the Regional Science Centre, Guwahati, in presence of Kimnei Changsan, Director, Assam Science Technology and Climate Change, Government of Assam, and Sujay Majumder, Project Coordinator & Head, Regional Science Centre, Guwahati. Around 350 students and senior citizens from different districts of Assam participated in this programme. The participants enjoyed different facilities of the Regional Science Centre, Guwahati, such as science shows (liquid nitrogen), 3D Film show, Science on a Sphere Show, visit to different galleries and science park. The programme will continue till November 8.
