Mystery Shrouds Worker's Death In Railway Grounds At Narengi

GUWAHATI: Mystery shrouds the death of a railway gangman identified as Ajit Shiva Basumatary (59) of Kokrajhar, residing at a temporary shack in railway grounds at Narengi. Residents of the area found his shack ablaze along with him on Monday morning. His wife and daughter are staying nearby at a rented house in No. 2 Kenduguri, Narengi. The Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body and sent it to the GMCH for post-mortem.
