National Commission for Minorities panel member to visit Assam

GUWAHATI: Member of the National Commission for Minorities (NCM), Syed Shahezadi will visit Assam from August 28 to August 31.

During her visit, Shahezadi will inspect the social, economical and educational status of the minority community in the State and discuss grievances/issues faced by the community.

The visit is connected to implementation of the Prime Minister's 15-point programme and various Central/State sponsored schemes pertaining to the minority community.
