NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) observes Janata Curfew

GUWAHATI: NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) rescuers and families of 1st Battalion observed the Janata Curfew following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to voluntarily stay indoors to check the spread of Coronavirus, on Sunday. At 5 pm NDRF rescuers and their families present at Battalion headquarters, Coy locations i.e. DIET Mirza, Greater Mirza, Changsari, and RRCs i.e. Aizawl and Agartala came out from their Barracks and Quarters and clapped, rang bells and banged plates to express their gratitude to all those working to keep the nation moving in this hour of crises i.e. medical officers, paramedics and essential services staff. Playing of Bigul at Quarter Guard, Siren and mass clapping was undertaken in a synchronised manner. Families of the rescuers showed solidarity and expressed gratitude and equally participated in the effort to fight off the global pandemic.
