New executive body of Kamrup (M) Notaries Association formed

GUWAHATI: The annual general meeting of the Kamrup (M) Notaries Association was held on November 10 at its office, situated at C.J.M., Kamrup (M) Court Complex, Panbazar. Outgoing President S.N. Dev Nath was in the chair and conducted the meeting. Various problems faced by the notaries in Kamrup (M), District, have been discussed, and some resolutions were passed in the meeting.

After dissolving the old committee of the association, a new executive body has been formed with Nabasish Chakraborty as President, Giasuddin Ahmed as Vice President, Sanjeeb Kumar Choudhury as General Secretary, Anita Devi as Assistant Secretary, Jeuty Kalita as Treasurer, S.S.S. Rahman, Basana Rajkhowa, Mumtaz Begum, Minmoyee Rekha Sarma, Swapna Devi, Kankana Hazarika, and Banti Baishya as Executive Members, while Saligram Chetri, S.N. Dev Nath, and Pranab Talukdar have been elected as Advisors of the Association, stated a press release.
