New political party ‘Jatiyo Mancha Asom’ formed in Assam

GUWAHATI: Amidst the widespread stir in the state regarding the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019, a new political party named ‘Jatiyo Mancha Asom’ has been formed. The announcement was made during a press meet held here on Friday. Sanjay Bordoloi has been elected as the president of the newly formed party.
