New post for Nani Gopal Mahanta

GUWAHATI: The State Government has appointed noted academician Prof Nani Gopal Mahanta as the chairman of the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam.

The Government also appointed Anjana Hazarika, retired assistant commissioner of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, as non-official member of the executive committee of the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam.

It may be mentioned that the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, Assam was constituted vide a Notification on November 30 last year.
