NGO Robin Hood Army distributes Door-to-door ration during nationwide lockdown

GUWAHATI: Due to nationwide lockdown people mostly the poor and daily wage earners are facing a lot of difficulties in their lives because of not being able to buy food for their families. Besides the government’s initiative, different NGOs are playing an important role in this critical time. An NGO named the Robin Hood Army, has been distributing food items to around 40-50 families on daily basis at their doorsteps to help them survive during this pandemic.

One of the volunteers of the NGO said that the NGO has already distributed food items to around 5,000 people and it will continue to serve the needy during the lockdown period. He said, “On a regular basis we are distributing food items to 40-50 families at their doorsteps.
